Intern, Logistics Job Description: Mission and Purpose: The department Audi China Logistics (ACL), located in Beijing, is responsible for a variety of logistic activities in Asia, functioning as a service provider for the AUDI AG and other VW group brands. One task is the logistical support of the sourcing process concerning export business from Asian suppliers to all Audi and numerous VW group factories outside of Asia: starting from logistic auditing over ramp-up coordination, to goods flow monitoring and bottleneck management. As an intern in Audi China Logistics, you will be working in an intercultural team within an international working environment. Job Duties and Responsibilities: * Communicate with Asian suppliers and freight forwarders * Verify shipping documents * Administrate VW Group Tracking and Tracing system * Prepare KPI reports * Develop optimizations of the supply chain * General support of the logistics team Qualifications: Education Background: * Bachelor or Master student with a major in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Engineering, or related majors. Professional Skills: * Proficient level in MS Office. * Knowledge of programming is a plus. * Experience in the automotive industry strengthens your application. Competence Requirements: * Strong willingness to learn (pro-active, detail-oriented), problem solver mentality, open minded, cooperative.
