Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for design work, such as component, assembly, 2D drawing in onshape.
2. Participate design work on product lines or development projects from China mainly. Reviews design work related to those projects.
3. Takes initiative to solve design issues. Solves customer/supplier issues with minimal guidance.
4. Routinely guides and shares knowledge with team members.
5. Control task circle time and communicate with team leader to meet them.
6. Creates or correct DECO(Design Engineering Change Order) for documenting design tasks.
7. Applies design standards and GD&T on Garret products.
8. Applies engineering principles on Garret projects (i.e. casting, machining).
9. Capable in design methodologies and tools;
10. Interacts with team members and peers to resolve day to day issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or related
2. 2~3 years relevant experience in mechanical engineering
3. Strong design skills in mechanical parts and components
4. Experience in manufacturing process, such as casting, machining, stamping will be better
5. Would be better if have knowledge about GD&T and its application
6. Proficient in 3D design software, such as Creo, Catia or UG
7. Good plan and schedule management skills
8. Good written communication skills in both mandarin and English
9. Team work spirit
