Position Overview: We are looking for a research intern who is interested in developing creative cloud platform systems, mobile APPs and big data-driven artificial intelligence solutions. The position will start on April 1, 2024, or later (flexible start date). The ideal candidate should have strong English and Chinese writing and communication skills, and the ability to think creatively about research, education, and technology commercialization. Experience of industrial working experience is desirable, but not mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate a strong ability to conduct outstanding independent research and show promise for excellent project engagement and management. Reports to: Prof. Ming-Chun Huang, Associate Professor of Data and Computational Science Essential Duties: 1. Work on software programming, cloud computing, and version control system management. 2. Provide induction, training, and direction to other research staff and students as needed. 3. Help project report preparation and organize related research workshops and group discussions. 4. Communicate and coordinate within and across research teams and work on a daily basis. 5. University employees' job responsibilities will continue to expand in scope and depth as the University grows in size and complexity in its programs. Required Qualifications: 1. B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Biomedical Engineering, or related major. 2. Excellent fresh graduates or candidates with years of working experiences are considered. 3. The job applicant may work remotely.
